Using the tools
ControllerTester is free to use for personal and commercial purposes, including embedding the widgets on your own site with the code from the embed page.
Measurements
Results show what your browser receives from the controller. They depend on your browser, operating system, connection and display, and they are not a hardware certification. Do not rely on them alone for warranty claims, purchases or safety decisions.
Output commands
The battery tool can send temporary rumble, light bar and LED commands to PlayStation controllers. These are the same kind of commands games send and are not stored on the controller. You use them at your own risk.
Guides
Repair guides describe general procedures. Opening a controller may affect its warranty, and you are responsible for the work you carry out.
